| William Way Center Hosts Programs for LGBT Elders |

| Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender adults 50+ are invited to special programs at The William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street. Silver Foxes, a social discussion group for LGBT older adults, will discuss same-sex marriage and adoption on Sunday, August 22 at 3 p.m. Mornings Out, an LGBT older men’s group, will meet on Tuesday, August 24 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss ‘The Greatness of Being Gay.’ New members and friends are welcome. |
| Farmers' Market Produce Voucher Program Has Ended |

| Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) has finished distributing produce vouchers through the annual Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. Altogether, 36,250 eligible low-income Philadelphia seniors received $20 worth of vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at certified Farmers’ Markets throughout the city. Recipients are reminded to spend their vouchers by the November 30 deadline. Information on Farmers’ Markets that accept the vouchers is available by calling the PCA Helpline at 215-765-9040. |

| Starting July 12, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) will distribute Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program produce vouchers to low-income older Philadelphians. Eligible seniors can receive $20 worth of vouchers for use at certified Farmers’ Markets throughout the city. The annual program encourages seniors to add fresh fruits and vegetables to their diets, and increases awareness of sources of fresh produce in local communities. |
