PCA Publications 

A monthly newspaper and two e-newsletters provide provide information, resources and inspiration for senior citizens, caregivers and professionals in the aging network.

Age-Friendly Philadelphia

PCA works with a broad range of community organizations, service providers and government agencies to identify ways to make Philadelphia a better place to live and grow old.

Research, Resources and Policy Documents

Philadelphia Corporation for Aging conducts and collects research on a wide range of topics relating to aging, from demographic projections to ethnographic studies of particular populations and how their attitudes influence their approach to aging.

As an advocate for older citizens, PCA generates testimony and position papers on a variety of topics including housing, transportation, utilities, funding and legislative initiatives which impact the aging population. 

PCA Library

The PCA Library is a gerontology/geriatrics library created in 1978. Its mission is to serve the information needs of PCA staff and of the aging network and, in so doing, help PCA fulfill its mission   of improving the quality of life of older Philadelphians and our community’s adult disabled. The library collection numbers about 3700 volumes, 300 videos on aging subjects and a range of scholarly journals. It is open to the public five days a week, and many resources are available online.
