Philadelphia's Neighborhoods
As part of its research and planning process, PCA gathers information about initiatives undertaken by organizations throughout Philadelphia which impact the lives of older citizens. These initiatives are important resources in their own right, and can also serve as models to inspire others to take action.  Many neighborhood-based organizations are developing innovative, collaborative solutions to the needs and concerns of their older residents. Intergenerational programs, counseling, community education, assistance for immigrants, interfaith programs and community supports are among the initiatives underway. Learn More
